Our student Varsha Kumar participated in the
After beating Barbora Bursová of the Czech Republic in straight sets in the quarter finals, Varsha made it to the semi finals to face of Romania. The semi final match was a close match which went into 3 games and lasted 46 minutes. Finally, Varsha emerged victorious with a scoreline of 21-15/11-21/21-12.
The final match was held on Sunday, 26th September, and Varsha would face the top seed of Slovakia. Varsha fought really hard and took the match to 3 games with a scoreline of 12-21/21-18/13-21. We are very proud of Varsha for having achieved her first International Silver Medal.
