The International Students Residential training program at Star Academy is the brainchild of our founder Dhruva Kumar, Level 3 certified coach from National, Badminton Center, Birmingham UK. While doing his training and certification in UK, Dhruva realized the importance of international exposure for young players who are serious and committed to their training. This drove him to develop a training program which was specially designed for international students at the Star Badminton Academy’s state-of-the-art facility at Bangalore, Karnataka. Star Badminton Academy has been training students in competitive level badminton for more than 10 years,

The entire program is specially curated towards young international players looking to boost their performance in competitive tournaments. Star Academy provides end-to-end service for all international travelers, starting from the moment they arrive in Bangalore. The academy takes full responsibility of picking up the students, and lodging them in a comfortable home stay in a secured community environment. An integral part of traveling for competitive tournaments involves being familiar with different cuisines. Hence, we provide different varieties of healthy food which is designed to prepare these players to adapt to any country they may travel to.

Coaching sessions are customized as per each students strengths and weaknesses. Special focus is given to prepare them both physically and mentally to perform in international level tournaments. The coaching and fitness training is supplemented with regular physiotherapy sessions.
